Limping in on its last leg: 足
一足
手足
出足

足あと
足す
足りる
足る
足下
足早
土足

Today's Sentence:
The leg bone is connected to the hip bone.

So after one day of trying the Anki program and just flat out trying to learn the kanji (currently 50 new cards a day), here is where I currently stand:

Correct Answers
Mature cards: 0.0% (0 of 0)
Young cards: 57.1% (112 of 196)
First-seen cards: 48.9% (68 of 139)

As you can see I  am doing atrocious at remembering the kanji and ya know what? I'm, okay with that. If I were to worry about trifling things like not immediately memorizing anything I see/read/hear I'm not sure I would have ever learned how to butter toast let alone know what butter is.

I always like trying new things out and taking learning at break neck speed for a little while is fun. Now to see if it helps in the long run.
